In 2018, Ikhona Gogo founded Keep Moving Dadewethu. With over a decade of experience as a qualified social worker, she has helped countless women overcome difficult situations. Ikhona holds a Bachelor of Social Work with a major in Psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
In November 2017, Ikhona underwent an extremely disheartening experience that shook her to her core as a young woman. The experience shattered her self-esteem, compromised her emotional well-being, and tested her faith. However, through it all, she discovered a stronger, more resilient version of herself.
This life-changing experience opened her eyes to the countless women who silently suffer in the shadows of oppression, without a voice to cry out for freedom. Inspired by this realization, she founded Keep Moving Dadewethu, a platform dedicated to raising awareness about the social challenges faced by women and empowering them to take control of their lives.
